I am wary of anything from Town Hall as a source in this matter. There have been two books in recent years, both fairly objective though approaching different conclusions, that would be better to spend your time with. One is Fawn Brodie's No Man Knows my History and the other is Richard Lyman Bushman's Rough Stone Rolling. Both good reads.
Also, you may want to find some articles from the Sunstone looking at their take of what the Book of Mormon is: pseudoepigraphia.
