So, via comments, I have discovered that I am a topic on conversation on Kurdo's website, and it is nice to know that while their are some objectors (which trust me as soon as my Dad reads the site--he only occasionally reads it--I am sure that he will be the loudest objector) that the majority of people reading my site accept me for me. sniff sniff...I love you guys...later.

Hello Melal,

I'm new to your blog (found you via Kurdo's actually), but I noticed your comments on your newest job, and let me tell you, I know what you're talking about. I'm a photographer who lives out here in wonderful Hollyweird, which as you probably know is the porn capital of the world. I do mostly music photography, and when you do this sort of thing for a living you run into people in the Adult industry ALL THE TIME--you can find 'em in the clubs, in artists' entourages, dancing in videos, stripping, they're all over the dang place! I've actually also known a couple of phone-sex performers over the years, and their reactions to what they were doing were practically identical to yours. What I've learned over the years is that porn will corrupt you exactly as much as you let it. Yeah, the money can be great, but the truth of the matter is the door marked "Out" is always open, and no one is stopping anyone from walking through it (largely because the turnover rate in the Adult world is so high, so practically no-one but the bigger adult talent is actually missed). I've known more than a few girls--not Biblically, heh heh!--who never waited for the system to exploit them. Rather, they exploited the system, got what they wanted out of it, and got out before it was too late. So I wouldn't worry myself to death over this if I were you, as long as you keep your head screwed on straight and your feet planted firmly on the ground.

"Oh yeah, I rock"...LOL!
